Zell am See-Kaprun x SALTY Trailrunning x GGUT. It's official.

For 2026 and beyond, SALTY Trailrunning and the Grossglockner Ultra-Trail are officially partnering. Together with Zell am See-Kaprun, SALTY Trailrunning will act as co-partner in the future organisation of GGUT: a clear and practical partnership built on a shared understanding of what makes this race worth caring about.

Both sides have set a simple priority: to honour the roots of GGUT. The founders, the crew, the volunteers, the athletes. The people who love this race, love these mountains, and helped shape the character of what it has become.

That legacy remains the foundation for everything that follows.

From here, the focus is practical. Aligned communication. Shared storytelling. Coordinated efforts across the season. A collective commitment to keeping GGUT the race people return to year after year.
