Injury, life, the general unpredictability of being human — none of these are good reasons to lose your entry fee when a €20 insurance policy exists.
For €20, the Flex Option gives you until September 21, 2026 to do one of the following: change your distance to a shorter route, transfer your spot to someone else within the same distance, or postpone your entry to OTF 2027. One option, used once. That's the deal.
To change distance or transfer your spot: email otf@saltytrailrunning.com. Distance changes are only possible to shorter routes and only while spots are available. Postponements are handled via voucher, sent at the start of OTF 2027 registration (mid-November 2026). The voucher covers your entry fee only — no additional services or processing fees included.
The Flex Option can be added during registration or within one week afterwards. Without it, the standard cancellation policy applies: no refund, no exceptions.*
