ARRIVAL & ACCOMODATION

Oberaudorf sits neatly between Munich and Innsbruck, which means most of the people who come to OTF have very little excuse not to. By car it's just under 90 minutes from either city. By train or bus, roughly the same. By bike, if you're local and already warming up. Carpools are encouraged. The mountains will still be there when you arrive — no need to rush alone.

The event site is in the Oberaudorf Kurpark. Parking, showers, and camping are all within reach. Everything you need to arrive prepared, sleep nearby, and leave slightly wrecked. All important addresses below.

ARRIVAL BY TRAIN

IC or ICE trains run to Munich from all major German railroad stations. From there, you can continue directly to Oberaudorf without changing trains or to Rosenheim, a station on the Munich - Salzburg line. Regional trains stop in Oberaudorf every hour. Innsbruck and Kufstein are ICE and IC stops, and many vacation rentals offer a pick-up service.

The district of Rosenheim joined the Munich Transport and Tariff Association (MVV) on 10.12.2023. You can therefore travel to Kufstein and Rosenheim or in zones 7-11 with the MVV fares - you can find the current zone map here.

From spring 2024, it will probably even be possible to travel free of charge with the Oberaudorf Guest Card in zones 7-11.

OVERNIGHT STAY

HOTELS & APARTMENTS

Oberaudorf has options across the full range: family-run guesthouses, vacation apartments, and the occasional wellness hotel, which takes on a different meaning when you've just run 60K. Book early. The area fills up, and explaining to your partner why you're sleeping in the car after a 100K is a conversation best avoided.

For accommodation, go directly to the Oberaudorf municipality search.

CAMPING

The surrounding campsites take tents and motorhomes. If you prefer to fall asleep to the sound of the Wilder Kaiser rather than a hotel corridor, this is your option.
